At the University of Groningen I am associate professor (adjunct hoogleraar) in Multi-Agent Decision Making, affiliated to the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. I am a member of the Multi-Agent Systems Group, and of the Groningen Cognitive Systems and Materials Center (CogniGron).

At the University of Amsterdam I am an associate professor affiliated to the Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics (ACLE), and the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC). I hold a honorary academic association to the Department of Computer Science of the University of Liverpool.

I’m currently (September 2022-January 2023) a fellow of the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS).

I lead the interdisciplinary Multi-Agent Decisions Lab (MAD-lab). I co-lead the Democratic Innovations Lab (DIL) at the School for Sustainable Development of the University of Groningen.
